As the state expanded to the southeast, a relatively large Armenian community entered its territory, with Kamenec in Podol. Armenians are great merchants and craftsmen. 18th century avg The Armenian craftsmen of the Radziwiłł Contour Belt Manufactory in Slutsk, including Leon Madžarski, mentioned in the sources. Conch bands were a luxurious element of the noble costume, a symbol of status and identity. Sluck Armenian woven bands were distinguished by their luxury, ornamentation, and special oriental patterns, which is why they became known as Sluck bands.
